A retreat for African Intellectuals across the globe emerged in conversation, culture, transformation, reconciliation and progress hosted by the Traditional Rulers and Tribal Chiefs of Benin Republic. We are asking for all African Scholars from the African Union and other Pan Afrikan Organizations to descend upon Benin Republic for a powerful time of bonding, reuniting with our brethren at home, thoughtful discussion, and celebrations of African culture, nightlife, and family reunification.

BENIN Itinerary The Political and Economical dynamics of the African Diaspora Conference in Ouidah, Benin, West Africa 9 DAYS / 8 NIGHTS
Early depart from Accra Leaving Accra November 4 @ 9:00 A.M Royal Motorcade from Togolese border. - Assistance and Formalities- Lunch in Agbodrafo Resort.. –Arriving Ouidah November 5@ 5:00 P.M- Welcome Dinner overnight.
Day 2 - ARRIVAL / WELCOME BBL - Morning Traditional Welcoming reception by King IBIKUNLE KPASSETON. Afternoon Home returning Ceremony - Agreements on restoration, reconciliation and reunion in the African Diaspora ( Tribal Chief's point of view) Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - COTONOU - PORTO-NOVO BBL Continental Breakfast - Cotonou City tour - Visit of the fetish market and Handicraft Center Lunch depart to Porto-Novo - Visit Ethnographic Museum Adande and king Toffa 1er Royal place (Honm Museum) Welcome reception by traditional dancers and Zangbetos The Night Guardians with magic demonstrations - Transfer to Cotonou - dinner and overnight .
Day 4 - CONFERENCE BBL Introduction to The Political and Economical dynamics of the African Diaspora Conference in Ouidah, Benin, West Africa. by Dr ONIFADE, PhD professor at Benin University.Dinner and overnight. Traditional history of the African and the impact of the Trans-Atlantic slave genocide.
Continental Breakfast Visit Ouidah, former center of the trade for slaves Between Europe and West Africa to Brazil, USA and Haiti and South America. Visit to the Portuguese Historical Museum, the Sacred Temple of Pythons, the Christian Cathedral of Notre Dame, the house of Brazil, the impressive Sacred Forest of Kpasse. Lunch, followed by discourse on the Trans-Atlantic Slave Genocide and the importance of the human restorative process. This will be followed by the road of the slaves leading to the Majestic Arch of No return and the memorial of slavery at Zoungbodji . Discussion on reconciliation, restoration and atonement. Reception by king Kakanakou, Naming ceremony, Prayers at the memorial. Dinner and overnight.

Remedies for damages due to trans-atlantic genocide from the perspective of Diasporic Africans 1. Reconciliation 2. Restoration Model- Presenter Dr. Mustafa Ansari and Dr. Nikitah Imani 3. Right to Return- Dr. Valentine Ojo Discussion
b. Traditional Rulers and Tribal Chiefs perspecive on remedies Presentations by Tribal Chiefs and scholars of Benin University Dinner with President of the Intitute of Phytotherapy and Herbology. Overnight.
Continental Breakfast, Departure for Abomey, famous capital of the powerful Kingdom of the Dan.Lunch. Visit Goho, Museum of Antiquities ; Hall of relatives, Lady Wariors ( Amazons of Dan) and craftmens shops- Lunch followed by a Courtesy visit to king Agoli-Agbo. International implications of the slave genocide discussion . Overnight.
Continental Breakfast and departure to Ganvie - We visit Ganvie village built on Stilts Welcome reception by fishermen, tour of Ganvie visiting the floating market, the lovers lane - Lunch – Shopping - free afternoon dinner and overnight in Cotonou.
Day 9 - August 2- TRANSFER TO GHANA. BBL Continental Breakfast, Leaving Ouidah August 14th at 9:00 A.M depart to Accra- Assistance and Formalities- Lunch in Auberge de Grand Popo Resort Arriving Accra August 14th at 5:00 P.M.
